Brilliance! Make the birthers PAY for the stupid!

Hawaii lawmakers want release of Obama birth information
By MARK NIESSE,Associated Press
Jan 27, 2011

Anyone would be able to get a copy of President Barack Obama's birth records for a $100 fee under a bill introduced in the state Legislature that backers hope will finally dispel claims he was born elsewhere.

The bill would change a privacy law barring the release of birth records unless the requester is someone with a tangible interest, such as a close family member.

The measure was introduced by five Democrats but has not yet been scheduled for a public hearing, a required step before it can move forward. A decision on considering the bill will be made by the House's Democratic leadership and committee chairmen.

The idea behind the measure is to end skepticism over Obama's birthplace while raising a little money for a government with a projected budget deficit exceeding $800 million over the next two years.

"If it passes, it will calm the birthers down," said the bill's primary sponsor, Rep. Rida Cabanilla. "All these people are still doubting it because they don't want the birth certificate from Obama. They want it from our state office."

<snip>

"If people really want to confirm Barack Obama is born in Hawaii, that's fine," Mizuno said. "I don't have a problem with looking at innovative ways to bring revenue to the state. The taxpayers deserve a break."

The $100 fee would help offset the extra work by state employees who handle frequent phone calls and e-mails from people who believe Obama was born elsewhere, Cabanilla said.

6. It won't satisfy the birthers. They ALREADY have a new "theory"-that even if he WAS born in HI,
his father was NOT born in the U.S. and therefore, according to THEM, Obama is not a "natural born citizen." The birthers swear that a natural born citizen is one whose parents were both born in the U.S.

American citizen born in HI (from freeperville):

"Also, Barack Obama was born during the very time period that the American People really fell in love with JFK on TV during his extraordinary televised live Presidential News Conferences. Greatly inspiring new Mommies and Daddies to groom their new offspring to be President of the United States someday.

Very, very common during the year 1961.

I know, I was there."

19. If he was "there"...he should have also...
...noticed the racial climate. I don't think the mommies of black babies were grooming their sons to be president. I don't think black or white baby girls were being groomed either. JFK told us that if you are a white male, from a very wealthy family...you too can be president.

The obvious thing, of course, is this: Let's say the freep is right and even Obama's mother was inspired. Why then would she have gone to Kenya to have her baby? Why would anybody who lives in a country with good hospitals, with good natal care, go to an empoverished country to have their baby.

I think if a study was done of all freeps, we would discover that they were ALL dropped on their heads as infants.

And they keep making excuses to not believe the latest proof that he's our legitimate, Constitutionally-eligible elected president.
