Do you stand with the president.....
I got email from Barack Obama.com. As a response I went to the White House website and posted this:

You asked me to sign the pledge, "I stand with President Obama and his vision for winning the future."

I will stand with you if you stand with the people against the corporations, for main street instead of wall street, for healthcare for all, for the preservation of the environment, for ending the wars which are destroying our country morally and economically, and the rule of law for all, not just the rich.

In other words, stand up for the people who supported you and put you in the presidency.

:kick:

The correct question is "Does He Stand With The American Worker?"

5. That's not saying much; unless you're 80+ years old.

7. He can start by urging a certain dept. to clean up Wall Street.
I would love to see him stand on that. In a nation that looks away from lawlessness, it will be lawlessness, not hopeful words that rule the day.

I still hold hope for our, so far, lackluster and disappointing President.

And now absolutely no one on DU will "love" me.

Since "love" and "hate" seem to be the plan "going forward".
