"As I look out the window, I see a very beautiful planet that seems very inviting and peaceful," said Cmdr Kelly. "Unfortunately, it is not.

"These days, we are constantly reminded of the unspeakable acts of violence and damage we can inflict upon one another, not just with our actions but also with our irresponsible words."

That took my my breath away. Listening to the audio from space, by a family member, with the moment of silence at the end, was uniquely moving.

7. Uzy, I appreciate this post so much

I'm seeing so much denial, rage, folks mad at the Sheriff, folks mad at everyone and a whole lot of finger pointing as to what group or end of the political spectrum has done the worse for longer.

Thanks to Scott Kelly for reminding us what is important. And that the "irresponsible words" causing all of this hate can come from anywhere and often do. Happy to rec.
