FORBES: More Small Businesses Offering Health Care To Employees Thanks To Obamacare
The first statistics are coming in and, to the surprise of a great many, Obamacare might just be working to bring health care to working Americans precisely as promised.

The major health insurance companies around the country are reporting a significant increase in small businesses offering health care benefits to their employees.

Why?

Because the tax cut created in the new health care reform law providing small businesses with an incentive to give health benefits to employees is working.

How significant is the impact? While we won’t have full national numbers until small businesses file their 2010 tax returns this April, the anecdotal evidence is as meaningful as it is unexpected.

United Health Group, Inc., the nation’s largest health insurer, added 75,000 new customers working in businesses with fewer than 50 employees.

Coventry Health Care, Inc., a large provider of health insurance to small businesses, added 115,000 new workers in 2010 representing an 8% jump.

6. You don't think Obama is a conservative dem?
Expansion of free trade agreements and new free trade agreements with countries like South Korea
Health Insurance reform without even a public option and the utilization of private companies
Hiring a banker as chief of staff who, BTW, was the architect of NAFTA
Extension of Bush Tax cuts for the wealthy
Keeping Gitmo open
Expansion of the war in Afghanistan.
Keeping many US forces and private contractors in Iraq for the foreseeable future.

I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.

Wake up and smell the coffee!

At least it's better than having a Republican and President.

7. If I had the time I would go into....
Detail rebutting your response. But one example is Gitmo. Obama cannot close Gitmo because the past 2 years congress has not funded this...you want Obama to use his own money? He's not that wealthy!

Have the EPA impose greenhouse regulation on polluters?
have IRS create a division to go after wealthy tax cheats?
Pay for the health care bill with increase payroll and capital gain taxes on the wealthy
appointed a union exec to the NLRB, hired Elizabeth Warren?
Federalize the student loans program?
Ended a Bush era reg that didn't allow more land to be added to federal protection

Do I need to go on?

4. Yea. Where are all the "kill the bill" purists? You'll never see them here. Or you'll
see them here lying about Obama being "conservative". Bunch of losers.

8. That is why the GOP wants HCR dead. Because it works and is an example of
government fixing market failure with regulations. The GOP cannot let the example of this success exist.

10. That is great news! I can not believe the OP doesn't have 200 recs.
This is exactly the type of benefit for workers that Obama was talking about when pushing the Health Care Bill.
