| What's changed since the mid-terms? NO Rahm Emanuel. |

You remember, the Administration's point(less) man.

That occurred to me a few days ago. I Wondered why I hadn't seen it discussed on DU.

.... to see what the "Obama insider" books report on the period immediately following Rahm's departure. I'll give you that.

Yes, it may be a coincidence, but surely, Harry Reid was more effective without him.

I've heard that quote by LBJ before. Pretty damn funny that he was being harrassed by the mainstream media in his day, too.

What changed since the midterms is that the votes taken in the Senate were on things that had enough Republican support to get through. START, DADT, and the 9/11 responders bill were all relatively non controversial items. And on the tax cuts, Obama compromised because there were not 60 votes.

I too am glad to see Rahm out of the picture, and I hope he loses in his race for Chicago mayor. But wouldn't it be just like Obama to go all Chicago on us with his next permanent Chief of Staff? http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/6908830-pundi...
