4. It's ironic how the war has taken a back seat now that Bush is gone
It's just not as important anymore, but getting Bush's obscene tax cuts is.

7. Remember when Pelosi grandstanded
about cutting off funding for the war. Think it was in 2006.

Now, it's full speed ahead. Don't hear anything about it.

House approves billions for wars without debate

By ANNE FLAHERTY
Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The House on Friday passed legislation that authorizes the Pentagon to spend nearly $160 billion on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan this budget year without major restrictions on the conduct of operations.

This year's bill is mostly noteworthy for its broad bipartisan support....

Unlike during the height of the Iraq War when anti-war Democrats tried to use the legislation to force troops home, the House passed the defense bill Friday with almost no debate on Afghanistan.

More change for the worse.

10. And that doesn't include military contractors. It is sad that most people will not
acknowledge that Obama did nothing to end the war in Iraq. All he did was replace our public Army with a private one, then claimed victory.
