Accused of a right wing viewpoint!?**

Today I posted something on DU which someone locked. The reason? For posting a very right wing viewpoint. My viewpoint led me to donate and work for Obama in 2008. It now leads me to disapprove of his performance. To some people, apparently, disapproval is equivalent to a right wing viewpoint.

Heres what I posted.

--------------------------------------------
Obamas base

With hindsight, its all so clear. All along, Obama has been serving the people who put him in the White House.

Before 2008 it didnt take a rocket scientist to see that a Democrat might win the Presidency. The previous administration needed a Democrat candidate who would block prosecution for lying us into a war and for torture. Wall Street needed a candidate who would prevent prosecution for tanking the economy. The defense industry needed someone who would keep the wars going. Drug and health insurance companies needed someone who would protect their bottom line. And millionaires needed someone who would protect their tax exemptions.

Together, they were able to get an extremely unlikely candidate a bi-racial black man with the middle name Hussein the nomination. He won. And has been serving his base ever since.
---------------------------------------------

Can someone tell what about that viewpoint is right wing? Arent many prominent Democrats questioning Obamas commitment to progressive values? Didnt George Soros recently say Progressives should consider directing their money elsewhere? Does Soros have a right wing viewpoint, too?

And is it really far-fetched that people who could be prosecuted for lying us into a war and for torture might have a more than passing interest in who was elected President in 2008? Ditto for Wall Street, the defense industry and all the rest do you think they just stood idly by? Do you think that Obama won solely on the basis of his magnetic personality and charming smile?

Time and time again, Obama has come down against progressive values and on the side of the Republicans. So much so that they had to dream up spurious reasons to be angry with him Socialist, foreign-born, Muslim, death panels. It was almost as if they couldnt find any real problem in his performance so that had to make reasons up.

Progressives, on the other hand, have found many real problems with what hes delivered.

Why has Obama been such a friend to Republicans? Because hes bought and sold? Because hes a bad negotiator? Because hes a wimp? Because hes been threatened? At this point, it really doesnt matter to me anymore. The bottom line is he has failed to deliver.

1. The signs were there and most of us ignored them. The NAFTA flap during the election was the first..

3. I started to get edgy at the first when he had the reverend to give
the prayer or whatever it was. I blamed it on tone deaf, now, not so sure...

5. I'd say "...bi-racial black man with the middle name 'Hussein'
might have something to do with it.
Sounds a little 'birther' to me.
Just saying.

6. It's all so obvious now in hindsight!
The constant attacks, the Reverend Wrightathon, the death threats, Palin calling him a terrorist...it was all just a cunning plan to hide their real intentions!

7. You Shouldn't Repost Something That Was Locked
Barack Obama is a trimmer. That makes him like every other successful politicians. That is not meant as a negative evaluation. Conviction politicians tend not to go very far.

The idea that he's a plant, a crypto-Republican, been threatened is preposterous...
