1. I don't know if they can, but they better go down in flames while trying.
This is one of the most important pieces of legislation they have a duty to pass.

2. I Read The Democrats Want To Put It In A Larger Bill Extending The Bush Tax Cuts
That seems fair to me. As Keynes said "in the long run we will be dead."

3. Which portion of the Bush cuts?
The upper ones? I hope not. I can see it now.

It will be yet another example of "One for you(the middle/working class).....one, two, three for the wealthy.....one for you......one, two, three for the wealthy." Because heaven forbid our government do something for the middle/working class without it having to be accompanied by them doing 10 times more than that for the wealthy and corporations.

I hope this isn't the case and that they are just referring to the middle class cuts. But I fear it's not.

8. I Would Do It
I wouldn't punish the needy to prevent the Republicans from rewarding the greedy.

6. LIkely it will be Bundled with Bush Tax Cuts for the Wealthy
If its going to be a bill my guess it will include the extension of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.
If that is not going to be included i doubt democrats will try at all.

7. They had better because once the GOP House majority takes over you can kiss
extended unemployment benefits and a lot of other things goodbye.
