in VA!: He'd beat Romney 48%-43%, he'd beat Huckabee 49%-44%, he'd beat Palin 51%-40%, and he'd beat Gingrich 52%-41%! That's NOW in VA!

1. Hope that's true - hard to believe considering that idiot governor they elected...
Maybe they have buyers' remorse.

17. it's based on higher turnout in a presidential year. In midterms and gov election
the Dem vote wasn't as excited and didn't turn out in the numbers needed, especially among African-Americans. With Obama at the top of the ticket that will be different, probably, in 2012.

2. Nate Silver rates PPP polls as among the most credible and accurate outfits in the biz.
This is good news, indeed. In a general election, teabaggers will have much less of an impact than during a midterm election.

3. Thanks for that info.
Then if these polls have him winning now, he'll most definitely win in '12.

4. Yes, but is that good or bad?
Hahahahahahaha.

That's how Fox News would report it, by asking a question about it.

LoL

7. polls two years out before an election means NOTHING
and if Obama keeps giving everything away to the rethugs and gets challenged in the primary it doesn't matter who runs against him on the other side he will loose because the democrats will be split in the general election

8. It only means that at this point in time,
right after the Dems.' "shellacking," Obama would beat those Repubs. in VA. Not a bad sign. ``

10. George W. Bush used a poll in 1998 to unseat Gore in 2000.
The poll that said that people didn't "like Gore personally".
That's when Bush started using the meme of him being a guy that men would like to have a beer with.

Except for the fact that Bush was an alcoholic and couldn't drink.
Weird how people react to crap like that when it hits the fan.

14. Hillary
Edited on Thu Nov-18-10 02:47 PM by Johnny2X2X
I think right now Hillary to replace Biden as VP is on the table. Obama has not been perfect or even great for Liberals, but he needs to be in place for the next 6 years if this Country and it's middle class are to have any hope. A Republican or Tea party President in 2012 will most definitely be the last nail in the coffin for our Democracy and our Freedom and a permanent farewell to the American Dream.

It's not too early to think about 2012. It's the last chance our Country has IMO.

16. No
Hillary should not replace Biden on the 2012 ticket.Anyone who thinks Hillary would be more liberal
than Obama Is In fantasy land.

Hillary may very well run for president again In 2016 but not as Vice President.
