Bobby Jindal NOT Running For President In 2012
"I'm not being coy at all. I'm not running for president in 2012. Period. No ifs, ands or buts, no caveats," the Louisiana governor told the Associated Press.

PHEW! Obama wouldn't have stood a chance.

4. We know. We all saw his big "response" to the State of Union address.
He failed pretty hard.

5. As long as he continues to spend most of his time out of state on fundraising junkets,
that should work well for LA, too!

7. Damn, that was going to be an entertaining run.
I literally am beside myself waiting for the 2012 repuke primary to kick off in a few months. It is going to be a riot.

8. I posted several times that Bobby wouldn't run
I think the earliest Bobby could even consider a run would be 2016 as the vice presidential candidate, and the reason I say this is that I knew when Obama took office, the racists - from the most subtle to the craziest - would be crawling out of the woodwork, and we've seen that happen. Even when that part of their party is told to keep a muzzle on it, Bobby would have an uphill battle getting the nomination. With the hatred going around now, there's no way he could run in 2012 as the GOP isn't gonna pick one "colored" to replace the other. And since I predict Obama will win a second term, the GOP will be really fed up seeing a non-white in the Oval Office so the best he could hope for would be to be chosen as a veep candidate, but I don't see that happening either. The GOP - for the next two presidential elections - will run a pair of old, white men (Sorry Sarah).

The earliest he might be able to run with an okay chance would be 2020 if the democrats keep the presidency in 2016. If the GOP wins instead then he's essentially out of it until 2024 because he won't run in 2020 against the incumbent. So much for a rising star.

11. Two things
First, what's old? 67+? Second, you say for the next two elections, the GOP will nominate old white men? But who's 67+ that presumed to be running? All are younger, except Ron Paul. Mitt Romney is like 60, but he looks way younger and I would do anything to have hair like his.

14. What's old?
Anyone born before me. :)

Also, for reasons I won't go into, I don't think Romney is going to get it either.

10. I hereby announce that I'm not running either
And I probably had just as good of a shot of winning as Jindal.

13. Because despite his embrace of the Republican Party, he knows deep down
that he'd never win the Republican nomination with these racists!

15. But he's running for VP
I can see him accepting the VP slot if Palin is the nominee.
