In 2012, Senate Dems have to defend twice as many seats as pukes. It is essential that the economy get crackin now.

House districts will be re-drawn with puke governors and a bunch of puke state-houses. not good because the pubs can blame dems for a poor performing economy.

16. FrenchieCat....in Michigan, it is the unemployment rate

If the unemployment rate in Michigan is 13 percent in 2012, President Obama will not carry Michigan. Democrats are in AWE tonight in this state. Governor....gone. Secretary of State....gone. Attorney General....gone. Worst of all...Michigan's Supreme Court...gone.

People in Michigan are mad. They are losing their homes and jobs, at the same time. This is why this state flipped upside down tonight.

Tomorrow, I want President Obama to DEMAND a FDR type work program and a lame duck passage for S-3706 for the 99ers and a renewal of HR-4213. Both of these bills directly impact the unemployed. In addition, I want him to say, "HAMP was wrong and we will not have millions of middle class Americans losing their homes in a Mortgage scheme. With such, I will demand Congress pass a bill to have the banks reduce mortgages to the CURRENT MARKET VALUE of America homes and the false values of 2007."

I know I have told my daughter who is at WMU (Western Michigan) as a Sophomore now...to move quick, fast and in a hurry to get out of here, after she receives her degree.

In fact, I spoke with my Husband after the results came in, that maybe we both need to move too. He works for a contractor for the Federal Gov't and their main office is in Virginia. I am a freelance writer so my job is flexible. Going to keep talking him into it because frankly, I am TOO DONE with Michigan, after tonight.

23. From the looks of the electoral map, Obama loses key states

Ohio, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana are likely to be in the Republican column.

Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania may also be in play.

Sadly, this was probably inevitable after they blew the stimulus. How often is it that a leader's first action in office turns out to be so important that it costs them the next election?
