New polls in PA7th, PA10th, & PA 11th. All show close and/or tightening.
Pennsylvania 7th District - Meehan 34, Lentz 31 (lots of undecided voters)(http://www.realclearpolitics.com/docs/2010/F&M_PA7_1014.pdf)

Pennsylvania 10th District - Marino 44, Carney 38

Pennsylvania 11th District - Barletta 43, Kanjorski 41 (down from an 11-point gap in their last poll)

I haven't paid enough attention to PA since the two statewide races looked lost... but I had no idea there were so many competitive races in PA this cycle. GOTV in PA is going to be incredibly important. There are as many as TEN competitive races in the state and we hold eight of them.

There's a good chance that the state legislature is flipping R and Corbett looks to be solidly ahead for governor. Redistricting could make any losses permanent.

I had advised people to shift their campaign dollars to WV,WA,IL, etc... but now I'm thinking that keeping Sestak close will be important for GOTV even if he doesn't look like he can win.

2. Sorry... the Democrat is the second figure in each race.
All three are down (two different polling firms), but one is MUCH closer than previously and the other two are clearly in the GOTV-could-make-a-difference range.

3. here are some stats for the Senate/Gov race from 7th districts:
Many registered adults in the 7th CD are still undecided about their choices
for US Senate (22%) and Governor (32%). Joe Sestak leads Pat Toomey in
the district among all registered adults, 43% to 34%, and among likely voters,
45% to 37%. Dan Onorato and Tom Corbett are in a dead heat among
registered adults, 35% to 34%, and among likely voters, 37% to 36%. Both
republican candidates improve their positions as the likely voter screen
becomes more restrictive

4. Thanks. Monmouth University just added PA-8 to today's polling. Similar story.
Fitzpatrick (R) leading the incumbent Murphy (D) 51-46

But that's down from the 14-point gap in the Franklin & Marshall poll from a month ago (the only other poll I've found).

We need some help from the top of the ticket in PA!
