We did pick the right President
Yes this is blatant cheer leading.

Safer streets, stronger schools and better housing is the message to sell.

Had the recession got much worse in the US where would the rest of the World economy, never mind the US be now? When America stopped buying – jobs went. With the stimulus programme they are coming back. This is the message the Democratic Party needs to push home to American voters.

8. Indeed
Eight years of a war against reality can never be forgotten.

The Republicans of today try and sanctify the image of Thatcher and Reagan. Both of them, as well as Nixon would not even waste their spit on them.

The Republicans of today are not Conservatives who can be debated, they are Neo-Con fascists who have torn the World asunder. They deserve nothing but contempt.

4. No
I have been critical of those Seantors who have worked against the programmes that they were elected to deliver.

Politics is however about selling your achievements.

5. Not likely.
Unreccers seldom explain their position or offer alternatives.

I'm recommending this.

10. Stronger Schools?
If you mean tearing down the Public School system as we know it and replacing it with corporate run Charter Schools, I'd like to know what you're smoking. Arne Duncan is the worst possible pick for Education Secretary and his "vision" does not mean stronger schools.

13. Arne Duncan?
Just browse through madfloridan's journal for that answer. This one is the tip of the iceberg:
