'Bribe' is the wrong term to use....
The proper term in today's modern political era is: Loan

People give money to a candidate expecting a return that is favorable to them.

Corporations give billions of dollars, and they damn sure expect a return, eh?

So let's call it what it is: A Loan. A loan that has to be repaid in some way shape or form. That's why there are laws about tracking the Loans (donations) so that we can later determine who owes who and how much.

What a screwed up system........

Anyway, was wondering, how much money, in total will be loaned this year, for all elections from sea to shining sea? Anybody want to take a stab?
