Any apology or calls for it from Faux News or the people actually responsible for the
Doctoring of the tapes or is this all going to be laid on the Obama Administration.

1. The right wing already laid it there.
The left knows better. The last time the President went against clusterfox some howled about the 1st amendment and said he was wrong....people on the left also. No matter which way it goes, it'll be wrong and we'll hear about it.

2. No it is all the Obama Administration, they overreacted
from fear of political correctness and dumped her. The Obama Administration should have found out the facts before jumping the gun. I think that is the way they are spinning it. Never mind they are the ones that put the story out in the first place, the Administration should have known not to take any report from Faux seriously.

3. Too much fun for the usual elements to inveigh against the President they've always hated
The Administration made a cringe-inducing error here, which is, of course, what the usual elements wait for and pray for day and night, so that they will have been right in the Spring of 2008. It's a pathetic little display, but par for the course.

6. Obama would not dare call out Andrew Breitbart and Faux News by name as the perps
He could bury both with their own misguided, vile deeds.

I wish he would, but don't see him doing that.

7. Yep.
They use any excuse to blame Obama. They should be raked across the coals for their lopsided reporting - and I mean from people other than Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. But of course we know that the mainstream news outlets are going to blame Obama. That man just can't win. It's his fault for not being omniscient. I sincerely believe that this is an insidious case of racism - 'blame the black man for the white man smearing a black woman'.

8. Mourning Joe was all over this story today and...
the whole time he was ridiculing and maligning the Obama Administration (using the new Q poll as "supporting evidence). Barely a word about the scumbaggery that is the right wing echo chamber / lie machine.

14. Not surprising
Morning Joe has never had a problem with the view articulated by Harris that right wing echo chamber / lie machine is an example of where Republican play the game better them Democrats. That was a key message of Harris' book on 2004, where he called Matt Drudge our "Edward R Murrow" after lavishing incredible detailed description on a totally fabricated story that transformed a routine $75 haircut in DC that Kerry got to a $1000 hair styling/hair dying/highlighting complete with quotes by made up stylists.

When mainstream people - and Harris and MJ are both mainstream - condone the lies there is a problem. I think that Obama needs to addess this garbage, the race issue and what happened in this specific instance. In Sherrod, he has an exemplary employee and he needs to repeat what her story really was and admit that his administration made a grave mistake in reacting to this despicable lie of a story. For once, it should be the liar's name and reputation that becomes the issue. Now, he likely will not feel he did anything wrong - as I assume that he feels that the ends justify the means.
