Ed Shultz is killing me too....:He's totally having an OBAMA-GASM. Geez
Edited on Wed Jun-16-10 05:16 PM by vaberella
The man is orgasming all over the place. Now he's the "only President to ever kick the ass of Big Oil companies."

The Republicans fucked up, though!!! <----WIN!

They were blocking us getting money from BP. Now Obama gets BP people in the office and we got 20 Billion--not even the measly 70-75 million the Repubs and DEMS wouldn't let us get.

I don't know if this is chess, luck, ability, or just sheer genius that I'm not in the realm to understand. Our own government wouldn't let us get the money.

Craziness.

Edited because I spelt Ed's name wrong.

As a note---when I say it's killing me. It's because it's massively enthused. Nothing about Ed's criticisms. He's just killing me with the energy of his support. He's like on gummy beary juice and hence the reason I stated Obama-gasm. Further more he was kinder to Obama's speech but wasn't very enthused---until now.

1. Shultz was supportive of the speech and the president
earlier today, too. He didn't join the bandwagon last night afaik.

2. Oh I know. It's his Obama-gasm that's killing me.

It's a bit OTT. However before the 20B he wasn't very enthusiastic. He was definitely kinder than the other 3. But he didn't seem very enthused but I will say that yes, he was supportive. I posted a thread on his response.

3. When Ed Shultz criticizes the president he does so as someone who wants to help him
He doesn't engage in this Beltway-NYC Establishment media smearing just to elevate himself.

5. I know. Even though he's loud and at times he hurts his position with his mouth.
I like Ed. He's like that cool truck driver uncle who knows politics but can be a bit crass at times.

7. Ed actually praised him for talking about faith
saying what any normal minded liberal knows, faith is VERY IMPORTANT to many many working people.

As a man of no faith I applaud this.

14. Yep, and I'm glad Barack Obama is one of them.
Prayers for the people in the Gulf .... prayers for the President ... and yep, prayers for BP ('cause they need it!)

15. Exactly...I have a different way of looking
at things but to each his own as long as they're not all up in my face..hypocritical and shit.

It seems to me that's one of the principles that are progressive..letting other people be who they are i.e.Muslim, Jewish, etc etc etc..

8. I'm listening as well...he's doing a good job of
telling people what happened and how BP is on the hook.

Boehner, McConnell think the taxpayer should be on the hook...the GOP is drowning in it's own crapfest...and that makes me even happier...:D

.... during the health care debate, Tweety loved the President, Ed didn't.

It's cable viewer triangulation. :)

16. Or they might possibly judge proposals individually on the merits
as the see them.

That is a pretty valid approach. It wouldn't even push plausibility.
