Obama ratings in 2010 in Gallup have been remarkably stable

By and large this year in Gallup Obama has been between 45-50 percent and his net approval usually higher than net disapproval. If you think this is a disaster for 2012, just remember that at this time in 1994 Bill Clinton had roughly the same approval numbers and his would actually at some point fall into the 30's and he won re-election by a healthy margin.

1. On CNN home page they say his ratings are bad news.

so I guess they mean the dropped. Suppose just wishful thinking on their part.
