| The media just might make Alvin Greene the new media darling |
|
Edited on Fri Jun-11-10 11:00 AM by bigdarryl
IF it turns out that the 10,000 dollars was in fact his and there are no illegal stuff with his election. Remember what we were saying in 2008 WHO THE HELL IS SARAH PALIN!! she can't even speak well. Look at her now the media darling. I think with the democratic party trying to pressure him to get out of the race it could back fire.People might start to fell sympathy for him

| 2. Do you intentionally call it the "Democrat Party" to be insulting |
|
or are you just not aware that it isn't called the "Democrat Party?"

| 3. Sorry, Mr. Greene is clearly an unwitting tool. |
|
He is obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer; he can't even babble incoherently like Palin in a way that might make people think he said something. I fell sympathy for him because he's being used, but he's not qualified to be a Senator. What seems to have happened is that some Republican operative found some poor dumb sap who needed a job and conned him into "running" for Senator, financing his "campaign," and then getting Republicans to vote for him in SC's open primary -- because the other guy would have had a better chance of beating Demint. This poor doofus has no chance at all, and that's why they used him.

| 4. Is there any evidence of this? |

Why would the Republicans bother? DeMint is going to win anyway, whoever runs against him is just the sacrificial lamb.
Why doesn't it make just as much sense that Mr. Greene figured he could get his name on the ballot and maybe pictures on some websites and wind up on TV? It has worked hasn't it? This has probably been the best 10k investment of his life. He is all over TV. He is getting interviews, newspapers are writing about him, etc. He is famous now. He was an unemployed dude living with his Dad before, now he is a US Senate candidate making national headlines. This will surely be a financial windfall for him at some point. It's only a matter of time before the right wing talk shows "sympathize" with him and put him on the air again and again and again to complain about the mean ole' Democrats trying to force him out.
This has been a fantastic investment for him. There is no evidence that anyone put him up to it that I am aware of.

| 5. Where does an unemployed guy get $10K for the registration fee? |
|
He's unemployed. He claims he got the money from his unemployment benefits. Right. He admitted on Countdown last night that he held no formal campaign events, made no scheduled public appearances, and had no website or campaign ads. He said he got all his support through "word of mouth." Right. This just doesn't pass the smell test.

Maybe he got the money from the Army for an enlistment bonus before he was kicked out. Maybe someone died and left him the money.
We really have no idea, and it is possible someone put him up to it.
But as of now there is no evidence he didn't just figure it would be a good way to get attention. And it was. Quite frankly, it was a hell of a good investment if it turns out to have been his own money.
