German Millionaires Volunteer to Pay 'Rich Tax'
Can you imagine how many problems we could solve in the US if we could get this with our own ultra rich?

2. The article actually points out the holocaust, which makes sense
From the article:

"Post-war Germany created its very own brand of capitalism — the “Soziale Marktwirtschaft”, which literally translated means “social market economy”, but in essence it understands itself as capitalism with a strong social conscience; an economic blueprint that is built on a consensus society, rather than one of social conflict."

3. Their definition of nationalism
actually involves investing in one's country for the better of the country, not just making one's own personal situation better. That's what rich people in the US just don't get by a long shot. When you help the poor and middle class, you are investing in YOUR country and making YOUR life and opportunities better all the way around. And rich people OWE the US that investment because otherwise they wouldn't have such great opportunities.
