I was overcome by a daydream for Pres. Obama's trip to the Gulf...
I dream that the president travels out to the site on a closed boat. Upon arrival Obama emerges from below deck, wearing only a leather loin cloth, a long length of rope tossed across one shoulder and a knife in his teeth. Without fanfare, the president dives off the boat and rapidly wriggle swims to the ocean floor where he wrangles a broken pipe with the rope, tightening the noose to stop the oil. Then the president swims to an open hole in the sand from which black crude spews forth until President Obama uses his knike to dig large boulders and sand from around the gape. The errant well is effectively capped.

While frantically trying to swim to the surface, the saturated Commander in Chief is set upon by a giant squid, which the president rapidly dispatches by tying all eight arms into a series of knots. (Of course he doesn't kill the beast, he's an environmentalist).

The scene ends as the tired president reaches the surface, gasping for breath (Well of course he's winded, he's Obama, but he's human). Folks help the president onto the ship and they steam to shore.......

Of course, the following day, every rightwing radio and Fox TV nuts will be rabid as they scream, "If he could do this all the time, what took so long!!!!!"
