And people wonder why we voted for Nader in 2000 and 2004. I'd rather have a Republican like Bush doing this stuff than a Democrat like Gore or Kerry.

Kerry is even a sadder case than Gore - he was a soldier who stood against the Vietnam war, who did good work in Central America, then went mainstream. He ran as a hawk and generic veteran, was branded a traitor by the wingnuts and lost.

To answer my own question, I think Honduras was worse because Afghanistan is just the Taliban, Zelaya was trying to help the poor and working people in his country for once. It is a joke to try to mask that Obama is doing this, East Germany and Poland looked like the epitomy of independence from the USSR compared to how Honduras is ruled by the US. Disgraceful. Not that I'm surprised. If Obama was white I would have never voted for him, just having a black Democrat with the vaguest of liberal talking points getting elected I thought would be a small victory. Anything good about it ended in January of this year.
