Will the teabaggers come out in opposition to the financial regulations bill??
My guess is that they will.

Guess? Of course they will.

The dems are stifling the free market.

It will kill jobs.

It will raise corporate taxes.

It is unconstitutional.

blah blah blah

3. With the financial industry one of their biggest supporters
Is there any doubt?

I also expect several faux Dems to be in opposition to it as well.....for the same reason.

5. Yeah
For the reasons you listed. It is 'anti-free market', it will kill jobs, etc.

6. Haven't you been watching?
Each new tea bagger rally draws fewer and fewer true believers. Their turnout in DC this week was embarrassing. When HCR passes - the tea baggers will know they have failed. All that's left then is for the right wing vultures to cash in on these "patriots" as they head off into the sunset.

8. That's the trouble with focusing a faddish movement so strongly on a particular issue
Once the turd is out of the living room, there isn't as much motivation to holler and scream in the streets.

9. Sure - the market will regulate the market. That financial "collapse"
Edited on Fri Mar-19-10 09:51 PM by old mark
was just a correction, and it would have got better by itself if the democrats had left it alone.
It's pure classic Newt thought...
Just wait.

want to go back to the 19th century. They oppose government intervention of any kind, except to fight those evil "ragheads" of course.
