I loved the guy, and one night in early 2002 I sent him an email and he responded personally within several minutes. I had a 'Kucinich for President' bumpersticker on my car before most people even knew who he was back in 2002. He was my first choice for 2008 (my 2nd choice was Edwards, so I was batting a thousand). I'm so very disappointed in him. He votes with the Republicans pretty much all the time these days, and if he votes down HCR, I will never listen to another thing he has to say. Words are one thing, but actions are quite another. His voting record says he is a right wing nut, not a liberal, and I'm not okay with supporting that.

more focused on sticking it to the insurance companies instead of helping the 30 million uninsured and people with pre-existing conditions. He also stated that he was not going to let anyone "intimidate" him into voting for this bill, so I think he's also being somewhat bull-headed. I think Ed did a great job in the interview (you could tell that Ed has great respect for Kucinich, and didn't want to offend him), but Ed feels he's wrong, and so do I.
