Harold Ford: "The notion that liberals didn't accept me is just wrong."
On Morning Joe.

Yeah right Harold, keep telling yourself that. LOL

(P.S. We've got enough Wall Street whores in the party.)

1. He said he dropped out because he didn't want a contentious primary....
...but it sure sounds like he's trashing his would-have-been opponent on Morning Joe. He talked about how no one knows what she's accomplished, how he visited some place where she has been once her entire term, etc.

11. Morning Joe is about BASHING liberals ...
Edited on Tue Mar-02-10 10:00 AM by Cosmocat
he sat there for the last two years and mealy mouthed while the scumbag bullies everyone into bashing the evil liberal boogeyman ...

As someone else accurately quiped, what is not ego with him is mush ...

You spend years sucking republican teet to try to find the soft middle politically, you are not going to be viable in a democrate state primary ...

13. LOL, he just didn't want to lose
And it was obvious that he would lose and only help to get a Republican elected. Why did he drop out again?

16. Absolutely! I answered every one of his emails telling to stand for liberal ideas
and stop this conservative, blue dog sh--t.

I told him he´s way to corporate and right-wing to be a true Democrat.

It played in TN fairly well, but we´re really wierd.

6. His timing sucked
If there were a groundswell for Democratic candidates this year, the Wall Streeters would have backed him. This year, they're putting their money on the Rethug ponies.

8. Smarmy and hypocritical no longer fly Harry Jr.
And about this notion that some forms of full tilt bigotry are not really bigotry because of 'culture' and 'tradition' is full of shit and will no longer be accepted. So when Harry claimed to support equality after years of voting for Constitutional Amendments against equality, his tradition of lies came crashing down upon him. Go back to Church, Harry, no Democrats want you. You have been rejected for being a right wing bigot and tool deluxe.

9. It did appear to this long-distance observer that Senator Gillibrand held
the fort on appeal to progressives in any would-be primary against Helicopter Harold.

I would have contributed to Gillibrand's campaign in any such primary to try and assure that a carpet-bagging jerk like Harold Ford did not get the Democratic nomination for a U.S. Senate race in New York.

Gillibrand was not my first choice, but Harold Ford is among the last few people in the country I'd want in the Senate. What of him is not ego is mush.

He can go stick it.

15. And he keeps on bashing the most likely Dem candidate even
after he bows out. Zuckerman will be running as an R and my guess is that Ford will be helping him any way he can. What better way than to have a Dem bashing a Dem?

17. The way he has demonized liberals over the years, he ought to be slapped for
making such a statement.
