1. I support President Obama
I do not agree with all of his actions.

I feel he has not acted on things he should have by now and am pissed off about these things.

I let him know weekly about the things I have issue with. Politely. Firmly.

I do still support President Obama.

2. I agree, he hasn't done everything I wanted him to do, yet.
I'm glad you communicate with him. He's had a full plate, but does read letters.

He has been prez for 1/4 of this term, more or less.

I support him, too.

4. and I do
Looking at my post, I think I was unclear. I do tell President Obama both what I am happy with as well as what I am not happy about. I believe he does need to hear both.

7. I think everyone could agree with
because no one can please all of the people all of the time. I do stand with you in staunch support of our president and you for letting him know what you're displeased and pleased with - that's pretty balanced, IMO.

9. Agreed
I think to expect otherwise is very unrealistic. President Obama came into office when the country was about as fucked as it could get and in one year has done a good bit to get things back on track. Speaking as a straight male that has been unemployed for a year and a half, my biggest issues are getting rid of DOMA and DADT, I believe he could and should have done more by now. That said... I do still staunchly support President Obama.

6. I'm still with the Prez
He promised a lot, we expect a lot. It's the instant gratification syndrome. Our country is so screwed up it's going to take time and at this point I'd rather he take the time to evaluate any all proposed changes and get it right, rather than just push for changes for change sake.

10. Very disappointed in the president for some of his decisions and lack of leadership..
at critical points. He totally ceded the health care debate to the Blue Dogs and the wingnuts.

However, I don't think it's too late to turn this around. I will support the president 100%.

I noticed that as soon as he stepped up his game and started calling the Repukes out, his numbers would turn around and they have.

I think this new Obama and want to see more of it. Can't wait 'til February 25th!!!!

15. So sorry you were so disappointed. He had lots of things to worry
about, but maybe you didn't 'get' that.
He's at least made the economy turn around, and I'm hoping for health care reform. I need it.

16. Please go back and re-read what I wrote. Though I may not agree with ALL his decisions...

and he has disappointed me for not standing up earlier to these folks, I still support him 100%. And I do understand the political climate that he's facing and that's why I will not abandon him. Doesn't mean I like it, though.

Can I get a break on this forum? You guys can be very difficult sometimes.

14. I have great faith in him.
It's still waaaaaaaaay early in his Presidency. Considering all that he's had to deal with, aside from Congress, he's doing a remarkable job!
