4. Have it without them, then. Invite doctors and patients instead
and whoever doesn't televise it loses their press access. So there!

30. EXACTLY. Then say, "we invited the republicans to come share their ideas...
...but they're not here yet, so we'll hold their seats open just in case they're running late..."

And then remind viewers at the end: "well, I guess the Republicans didn't care to share their ideas after all..."

9. Then Obama should ask them what the fuck they're so afraid of.
The problem is, he can't refuse to do it without it being televised--because THEN the talking point will be "OBUMMER NEEDED TO HAVE CAMERAS IN THE ROOM TO GET HIS GOOD SIIIIIIIDE"

13. Their lord and master said NO and that means NO.
"RUSH: Look, for those of you Republicans in the House (and the Senate for that matter) the goal is to get our message out there and do it repeatedly and effectively right up to Election Day. Do not engage Obama in staged propaganda events. Do not do it. I'm going to tell you, all that's going to happen is here is a campaign debate. That's all it's going to be. It's not going to be a health care debate. It's going to be a campaign debate, but Obama gets to choose the talking points. Obama gets to choose the way in which it's discussed, and Axelrod will go out there. Axelrod will tell the media in advance where it's going and tell them how to handle it, all on live TV. It will be a replay of that summit where you had him come to visit your retreat in Baltimore. The -- media said, "That's the day Obama turned it around! That's the day Obama turned it around."

Chickenlivers have nothing so they will not debate President Obama on Health Care Reform.

Is he quoting his "sources" or have the Republicans actually released a statement on this, etc.

They're afraid to look like fools again. They are probably getting the straws ready to see who are going to be the sacrificial lambs this time.

to signify that they were too afraid to attend.

Obama can talk to the Dems and some every day Americans; all the while highlighting that the Republican'ts are yellow.

On edit: I just realized that you guys have already said what I said.

So Cheers!

They know they can't compete in a televised debate - they have NOTHING in their arsenal except "no". What reason are they giving for refusing? FAIL.

35. Repubz have nothing to gain from the Meeting....it only makes Obama look good.
Unless they have a descent strategy that blindsides Obama it probably wouldnt be in their best interest to repeat the disaster from last week.

By their not doing a televised Q&A it keeps Obama in the same position and looking like he isnt being bipart with the continued help of MSM pointing this out.
