Bush Billboard Looms Over Highway - Miss Me Yet?

George W. Bush is back...in billboard form. Hovering over I-35 near Wyoming, Minn., is an ominous/how'd-anyone-take-him-seriously pic of the former president with the question, "Miss Me Yet?"

There have been no reports as to who is behind the billboard. For all we know Bush put it up after finding a picture of himself as he was about to catch a hamburger at a barbecue. (via NPR)

1am, emergency room at Hammad Hospital in Doha, Qatar. Running a 102 fever, about the same temperature as outside, but I was less humid. Couldn't keep anything down or inside me. Only patient in the emergency room that spoke English.

Female doctor on duty, all I could see were the eyes. Three CT scans, including one with a barium "tracking compound" administered via the rear. They wanted to admit me because they didn't know if it was diverticulitis or my appendix, wanted to do surgery to find out. Away from any friends and family, looking at a possible hospital stay.

Ended up being sent home with diverticulitis, heavy-duty antibiotics, and four more days of chills, weakness, and fairly constant digestive upset on both ends.

I miss that day more than I do GW Bush.
