***New secret electoral strategy***
1. Stand for your values and never back away from them to curry short term favor.

2. Do the people's business and work for their interests.

3. Work and ask for every vote but pander for none, never even begin to believe that everyone can be reached. If you flip/flop around in an effort to get a person's support just tells them that you'll flip/flop on those promises to get the next guy's vote.

4. Compromise is necessary but you compromise results (the true taking of a half loaf) but never your principles. Once you compromise your principles you lose the trust of your people and the respect of your opposition.

5. Speak the "local language" and "know the conditions on the ground". Meet and work you constituents, know their issues and passions. Tailor the party principles into rhetoric that resonates with who you are trying to work for.

There is no magic.

There is no nirvana fusion of left and right, no permanent sweet spot to reside at, and no way to win every race or even cycle.

There is no path to permanent majority just hard work, integrity, communication, and doing the people's business. If you treat them right and communicate the people will ride your horse a long way.

1. Endorsed.
That is a winning strategy that even billions of corporate dollars can't beat.

8. Destroy the corporatists and they will come
The first rule of DLC Club is to annihilate or co-opt any such potential persons and failing that marginalize them.

The party hacks don't want such folks they have too few strings to attach and become too popular to get rid of. They also fuck up the corporate gravy train for everybody.
