Since you said Biden will be addressing the Senate, I've posted a lot of responses to those saying the reason that Obama and Biden didn't vote today was probably because they were off campaigning. I've responded that Biden wasn't off campaigning, he's there and will be addressing the Senate shortly. So therefore it's only logical to assume that he was making a statement as to how he felt about such an inappropriate bill. :7

Well, it occurs to me that I have no idea if he was off campaigning earlier when the votes were being taken. I'll stop spouting off until I know for sure -- do you know?

There are some from the other side that agree with it.

Richard Holbrooke (former assistant SoS for the Clinton admin)
made a case for it yesterday in front of the House of Rep Foreign Relations Committee.

This WILL be interesting -but- are they going to give Joe enough time since
he is in that debate tonite?

filibustering it and 67 to keep Bush from vetoing it. I think the republicans are breaking records on filibusters. They are using what power they have left and are blocking anything meaningful.
