Jill is going overseas

WASHINGTON (AP) — The wife of Vice President Joe Biden will head to Europe to meet with military family members for Independence Day and will speak to a United Nations conference on higher education.

The White House announced on Wednesday that Jill Biden will visit Germany and France July 3-7. She'll spend the July 4 holiday with military members and their families stationed in Germany.

She'll then head to Paris to deliver a keynote address at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization conference on higher education on July 5. 9. I have the utmost respect for her. She's amazing.

Smart, kind and thoughtful. She was working with military families -before- she came to DC. This is not political.

I remember reading somewhere after Joe was picked for VP an article about how much America will fall in love with Jill.
I just wish the cable news outlet would show some of those pics and tell the story of what she did for the 4th of July.
