I sent her something, too, and I know she got it (gotta love online banking!). I'm really looking forward to her getting settled in and back on her feet. I've been in a situation similar to hers, but I wasn't alone, and I knew I could always go home. Still, I have an idea what she must be feeling. It is not a self-esteem booster, and very stressful, too.

She deserves better.

to move out of her apt? Last I messaged with her, we were both going through stuff (literally going through our physical stuff). A lot easier for me, just a question of lugging stuff across town in my car rather than narrowing down to planeload and boxes.

I bet her neighbor turned off the wireless and she's been busy packing, traveling and unpacking - bet we'll hear from her right before VP Biden and P Obama take the stage with their acceptance :)
