My biggest disappointment
What the hell is Joe doing driving a big gas guzzler and playing golf?!?!?!?!?!

1. Playing golf - okay.
I too was wondering what was up with that truck.

2. I have a thing against golf and golf courses. I thought he had an old Corvette and Jill
has a 10-yr-old BMW?

4. I'll give him a pass on the golf.
It's a valid form of relaxation that he sorely needs, I'm sure.

But the truck - with the extended cab. That disappointed me, too. Unless he needs the truck to haul stuff for his property. Even so, he didn't need to drive it to the golf course.

8. If he owns a large amount of land (which it looks like he does) he'd need the pickup
to haul grass and clippings to the recycling/composting center. Also remember he does not have a small family. He, Jill and Mom live at home. Beau and his family live nearby, Val and her husband (and Missy?) live near by and Hunter and his clan live in the DC area.

As for golf? The man needs a hobby and golf provides him time to think and excercise (and time outside which is good for all of us).

I'm happy to see that the vehicle was American (and UNION) made.

11. To a city girl like me,
4 acres seems like MONTANA. If I had that much land, I'd have a truck, too.

But he probably should be driving a more fuel efficient vehicle to the Brew Ha Ha and commuting to the train, etc. Like you do with your Malibu.

16. Oh don't feel bad - Thanks to Mother Nature I've learned in the last
couple of months that 'replacement value' and 'actual value' are two very very different things x( Maybe they haven't repaired/replaced her vehicle yet OR maybe (for safety reasons for her) that's the vehicle he bought for her.

Who knows.
