I forget which hearing I was watching, but I thought he was pretty impressive! Looks like he's hanging with the good guys, now.

3. He seems to do a lot with foreign aid via several committees
which would explain him being involved with this one.

He's on Banking; Budget; Foreign Relations; and Energy committees. Whew!
