While I love to see JB on TV whenever possible, I find it incredibly frustrating that he couldn't get any media attention while he was a candidate. It's as if the media has realized that it was a mistake to muzzle him up. On Morning cup of Joe one of the guests had said that if he had talked like that during the campaign, then he'd be the nominee. Well, he did say it straight then, but the media chose not to cover it. I thought I'd move on from this by now, but I really haven't.
I hardly ever watch any US news and when I do, it's more for entertainment than information. It is mostly campaign gossip he said, she said crap. I don't care who bowled what score, what kind of beer or Hillary likes, or what anybody's preacher says or believes. Most people have a vague notions of what any of the candidates stand for and I blame the media for not covering it as much as I blame the individuals for not seeking it on their own. A free and open press is vital to the health of a democracy. I hope ours can find it's way again.
