Senator Boxer:
For the last year, your office consistently sent all of your constituents in our fine state, letters, emails, and phone bank calls. You asked all of us to stand behind you, and for our help in a highly contested, and heated battle with a well known, and highly controversial ex-CEO. This person tried to take the same road as the republican candidate for Governor did, attempting to buy an election, so that she could do to the state of California, what she did for the company that she used to head.
A little more than a month ago, we all stood behind you at the polls, and enabled you to overwhelmingly win a heated, and close election. We the voters, resoundingly answered NO. In yours, and Governor Browns election, we said NO to big money writing our laws. We said NO to special interests, NO to corporate welfare, and NO to the CEOs and lobbyists that so want to run our state, instead of the people.
Now, it is us, that want YOU to stand behind all of us, as we stood behind you little more than a month ago. Senator Bernie Sanders, is involved in a heated battle for the character of this country, as he fights for the 90 percent of this country that feels as if they don't have a real voice anymore. Please take a full, public stand, and give him your complete support on his filibuster. Talk to your colleagues in DC, and convince them to put their support behind the Senator from Vermont as he takes a brave stand on an issue that no one else feels the courage to take up.
Senator Boxer-the time is now, and the cause is just. Please support the Sanders' filibuster. Support it proudly, and support it publicly. We pulled the lever for you in November. Don't let us down.
