US fears grow over China military
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/6691691.stm

The US has expressed concern over China's growing military might.

A Pentagon report given to Congress says Beijing is spending far more on its military budget than admitted and calls for greater transparency.

The report highlights China's greater ability to mount pre-emptive strikes, citing new submarines, unmanned combat aircraft and sophisticated missiles.

1. Glad we owe so much to China and have essentially funded
any military aggression that will come from China onto the rest of the world or ourselves.

Boogedyboogedyboo.

So interesting what people focus on. Like they ever weren't creepy. Human rights abuses, prison labor, forced abortion, genocide in Tibet, NO PROBLEM! Frown our direction- EVERYBODY PANIC, panties on your head, call 911.

Le sigh.

5. I'm not concerned about them.
At least, no moreso than I have been since the Cold War. I'm much more concerned about my own government. It seems some psychotic crackheads have jumped behind the wheel and no one seems able to stop them.

6. Empire.

"The American empire is imploding and going down, it is already visible before our eyes. The ideological and the political currency and cachet of this government... it's disgraced around the world. The American government is hated more than at any time in my lifetime, so we really have an empire that's in a slow-motion decline and it will decline. My two words are... they are going to do a lot of bloodshed, a lot of wreckage before it goes down, and that what stands to replace them is the Chinese empire, and the Chinese empire is a lot more experienced than the American empire, which would be rather parvenue by Chinese standards.
