either call their bluff and force vote after vote, make them stand up and read a goddamn phonebook to filibuster. or play chicken and make them explain why they won't cooperate. president's have this big speech called "state of the union" for a reason.

They did indeed do exactly that...Obama is not the person I thought I was voting for. How is this in any way Change I can believe in?

Or to make it more clear, as posted long ago, some guy says you have to cut off your hand or the cut the chain, I am finding a third option, because not going to get someone to get me to damage what I think is a better idea in my heart. And I see lots of people that do that same thing in many places, even many that disagree with me.


That is also what courage is, they give you two options by intimidation or fear, you call their bluff, maybe you die, or lose all your beer and travel money, maybe you don't. But sure not going to hurt yourself by their intimidations. Nor let them think your good intentions are hurting anyone else.

and the DEMS had a REAL piece of AMMO in the UI no-vote of the Pubs. So then they wrapped tax cuts in with UI so they lose the AMMO against the Pubs.

So Pubs can say "We stopped Obama from raising your taxes AND we kept UI benefits flowing for the Holidays."



With negotiations like that, who needs 2 parties?

Brilliant maneuvering, no? But as I keep being reminded, Obama is wildly popular, nobody of any consequence really objects to this, and I don't understand the subtle game being played here.
