3. Am hoping a very STRONG Dem will come to the fore prior to the 2012
and that Obama will decline to run as an incumbent.

Somehow, I don't see this as happening :(

4. Her speech on the tax cut.unemployment votes was magnificent
I heard it on the car radio a little while ago. She tore apart the Repukes and read aloud a number of letters from people who afre afraid they will be homeless and unable to feed their children if the unemployment benefits are not extended. Heaven knows what these people and millions of others will suffer over the coming winter.

Merry fucking Christmas from the Repuke party.

6. We need somebody like Boxer.
She has a pretty solid progressive record, certainly has experience, and won't take any guff from anyone. An amazing woman. She's got my vote. :dem:

9. same candidate, different president ;)
With Obama, we know we'll get a Blue Dog, and we know that he no longer can energize the base. A Dean (or a Boxer will energize the base, and as long as they remain progressive in the White House, we won't quit on them. Why would we? Your question doesn't even make sense.
