1. John Morgan Is 100% Democratic And A Plaintiff's Lawyer

If Charlie went to work for a Republican law firm that represented insurance companies and bad doctors I would be suspicious...

4. John Morgan seems to have a habit of picking up connected Republicans.
I don't think he is 100% Democratic. Or more to the point, he must be a 100% Florida Democrat.

'nuff said.

7. What Connected Republican Did He Pick Up Beside Crist?
Edited on Fri Dec-03-10 09:59 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
I linked his campaign contributions. Not a Republican in the group...

He's hosted fundraisers in his Heathrow mansion for prominent Democrats including the late Ted Kennedy, ergo:

Campaign season may be long over, but you'd never know it by looking at John Morgan's past week.

"Thursday night, the high-profile attorney hosted a fund-raising dinner party at his Lake Mary home with Democratic icon Sen. Ted Kennedy.

Be careful with your shotgun approach to politics... You just might shoot a friend...

As for Charlie he's finished with the Republicans. Jeb Bush said he's not welcomed back...

'nuff said

2. ...for the people.
God I hate their commercials. Though they're better than a lot of the law firms with a lot of advertising dollars.

9. And?
Annoying commercials are annoying, regardless of who is running them.

It's simply libelous and laughable to anybody who knows him.

And as somebody who knows him it's offensive...

12. It is not libelous if I stated it as an opinion.
Are you going to use a lawyer ploy and try to intimidate me, too?

13. You Suggested He Was A Crypto Republican
Edited on Fri Dec-03-10 10:22 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
I counted his contributions since 1996. They total over $70,000.00 He has contributed to Act Blue, Patrick Kennedy, and Alan Grayson. Crist (I) was the only non-Democrat he has contributed to. If he's A Republican or crypto one it's a surprise to anybody who knows him and his work.

Let me tell you how it works... Most plaintiffs lawyers are Democrats and most insurance defense lawyers are Republicans. Anybody even vaguely aware of the intersection between law and politics knows that.

Aren't there Republican law firms in Florida you can pick on.

You can start with all the law firms that represented George Bush* during the 2000 recount brouhaha...

You will be hard pressed to argue the 100% label when he didn't support Meek in the last election.

Would you like to negotiate the percentage? Maybe 95%? That's still pretty good.

15. Lots Of Democrats Including RFK Jr And Robert Wexler Supported Crist
Edited on Fri Dec-03-10 10:28 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
Lots of Democrats including RFK Jr. and Robert Wexler supported Crist on the erroneous but well intentioned assumption that only he could stop Rubio.

It's history now... We got Rubio...

If you believe giving $70,000 to Dems and $2,000 to an Indy makes one suspect there is nothing I can do to disabuse you of that notion.

John Morgan sues bad doctors, negligent corporations, and lax government agencies. He's one of the good guys...

I said, we don't live in a world where we can count on absolutes.

98%. That's my last offer.

17. I Concede Your Point
I would also concede that John Morgan is interested in advancing the interests of John Morgan and his law firm. The nice thing is Morgan's interests usually coincide with ours...

PEACE

P.S. I hope we don't have to continue "litigating" the Meek-Rubio-Crist three ring circus. It was a sad result in a sad election.

19. I would say this ended as favorably as anyone could expect.
Not in anyway looking for reasons to dig up the three ring circus. I agree, it was a sad election.

I really do hope that FBI probe into the Florida GOP bears fruit on Rubio. That would be delicious.

5. Have you noticed how their commercials have slowed down since
the election? I wondered if they were trying to earn $ for political donations. Too bad they supported Crist.

That tells me quite a bit right there.

11. No offense, but it's not enough for me.
I'd like to see the campaign donations of every attorney in the law firm before I make up my mind.

Got a link?
