Scalia Mocks Sotomayor - For Expressing Concern For Human Beings-Left Sitting In Their Own Feces

Scalia Mocks Sotomayors Compassion For People Sitting in Their Feces for Days in a Dazed State

.......

JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR: Well, the best interest of the State of California, isnt it to deliver adequate constitutional care to the people that it incarcerates? Thats a constitutional obligation.

MR. PHILLIPS: Absolutely. And California recognizes that.

JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR: So when are you going to get to that? When are you going to avoid the needless deaths that were reported in this record? When are you going to avoid or get around people sitting in their feces for days in a dazed state? When are you going to get to a point where you are going to deliver care that is going to be adequate?

JUSTICE SCALIA: Dont be rhetorical.

8. Scalia -- the big "Christian" ... also tried to bully and intimidate Sandra Day O'Connor ....
telling her she didn't have the "guts" to overturn Roe vs Wade --

Scalia is a disgusting little man -- in every and any way you can measure him!

9. Lesson from reading cases in law school: Scalia is a horse's ass
I'm sure that I'm not alone in that sentiment. The guy is inflexible and, often, totally impractical with his opinions.

22. Indeed, you are not alone in that sentiment.
I would also add that he's deeply hypoctitical, playing the states' rights card when it suits his masters' interests and then ignoring states' rights when he needs to install a President that his masters like, i.e. Bush v. Gore. I have no respect for him or his opinions.

I need to apologize. I am sorry that you are a piece of shit.

11. Yeah, well, Scalia also thinks actual innocence is less important than formal process in capital
cases. He would prefer that hacks in state legislators choose our senators by cutting deals in smoke-filled back rooms, instead of people voting directly for the senators. And he believes that once a legislature allow corporations to exist, with all the various legislated corporate privileges and immunities, the legislature loses the ability to restrict corporations, which Scalia somehow confuses with natural persons

In short, he's an authoritarian, whose sympathies lie entirely with an elite and powerful few

12. When you get rhetorical in the courtroom, it underscores...
...the unresponsive nature of our government. Let's not have that.

14. Apparently Fat Tony managed to skip Catechism everytime the nuns
discussed the Corporal Works of Mercy.

He also probably missed the day the sister explained that you may be able to fool the priest you confess to, but you can't fool God about your sins.
