4. Yep, I agree with Tweety, too. Although I don't know all the machinations one
has to go through to get a vote to the floor, I think they should start working on it now and to that straight up and down.
This guy Tweety has on now is one of the few Rep strategists who I actually like. He's deluded, but not brainwashed like what's-his-name-the-black-guy-with-glasses.
3. And if the Republicans had been forced to vote on this, say, two months ago
How might the mid-terms have been affected? Thank God the Democrats didn't want to do any political during the campaign, like uncouple the continuation of lower tax rates for incomes above and below $250,000. That would have been dirty pool, sir!
7. Subtle innuendo and diggs like this by the Corp Media help to shape the electorate
and leverage many voters against Democrats. Note and remember what Chrissy Matthews is up to.
Democrats are not coercing or forcing Republicans to vote against middle class tax cuts...as if Democrats are engaged in coersion. Republicans are merely revealing their priorities and the presentation of this particular vote is an occasion to do so. There is not coercive about an elected official doing their job by voting.
If the Republicans feel compelled, the pressure comes not from Democrats but from much more powerful constituents that demand obedience. Chrissy would like to shift this focus away from those powerful constituents and place the focus and blame on Democrats. Thus, now we know where Chrissy places his priorites.
