The Republicans' FINAL SOLUTION:
Just as the Nazis had a Final Solution for the "Jewish Problem" the Republicans have a Final Solution for the destruction of the Middle Class. The dreaded class of citizens created by FDR's Fair Deal policies.

The first step was the destruction of the Unions. Unions were foremost the wealthy classes most dreaded enemy. Corporations launched a massive propaganda campaign to discredit the unions by seizing on union corruption completely blowing it out of proportion when in reality it did not equaling even a small fraction compared to Corporate corruption. Their propaganda program was a rousing success and membership fell from a high of 36% during the 1950’s to today’s paltry 6% most of which consists of municipal workers and teachers. These workers are their latest target under the guise of privitation of services to reduce costs.

The result was instead of the unions being able to get representatives elected that actually represented labor the elected representatives became the totally owned lackeys of the Corporations. Stripped of any protection the workers were at their mercy and coupled with phony Free Trade Treaties they began a massive outsourcing of jobs to maximize profits. It was unrestricted capitalism gone wild financed totally at the expense of the working class.

Another key ingredient in the scheme was the deregulation of banking along with repeal of usury laws that allowed banks to charge unconscionable rates while paying virtual nothing on saving accounts. The end result was the massive transfer of wealth to the top 2%. The control of information was another key goal of the ruling class. This was accomplished by the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine by none other than Ronald Reagan in 1987 by executive decree coupled with repeal of laws that prohibited the monopoly of the media by giant national and even international corporations.

This was a carefully scripted plan. Break the unions, control the media, deregulate finance, rescind tariffs, and pass Free Trade agreements while paving the way for privatizing Social Security and the eventual repeal of every program that benefits the working class. This will be accomplished by starving the government by refusing to raise taxes and using the depressed economy as an excuse to provide businesses with additional tax breaks. These vultures don’t have a shred of decency as demonstrated by their refusal to extend unemployment benefits for two million of our fellow citizens. Welcome to the desperate plight of the 1920’s working class families to feed the insatiable greed of the wealthy.
