GM to Auction-Off First Chevy Volt, Donate Proceeds to Detroit Public Schools Foundation
Rush's head will explode over this. There is just SO much for him to hate here: "Government Motors" is auctioning the (union-made) Chevy Volt and giving the proceeds to an inner-city public school district.

Touted as the most advanced car ever made, Chevrolet announced the official start of production of the Volt electric car today during a press conference at the Hamtramck assembly plant where the car will be built.

General Motors has also announced it will auction off the very first production Volt, with all proceeds going to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation in support of Science, Technology, Match and Engineering.
