1. most likely not
since they can't see into body cavities, they wouldn't be able to penetrate skin in the belly.

2. I didn't think it could. But thought that maybe it would show maybe a different color or density on
the image.

But I guess not. I have googled and have come up with nothing.

GMTA, I guess...I've had two hernia repairs since the first one didn't
work, so I was concerned...

4. someone complained that the xray picked up their surgery scar
and TSA did a pat down of the scar to the point it was uncomfortable for a while afterwards.

the surgery that caused the scar was years ago.
