According to reports, Mary's homosexual partner of 15 years, Heather Poe, "will have no legal relationship with her child. She can't adopt as a second parent. She won't have her name on the birth certificate."

BTW, that little gem made it to the 4th paragraph of an 11 paragraph article and ABOVE the advertisement that splits the article in half.

I'm sure that myself and everyone here at DU clearly recognize that lil Samuel David Cheney has two parents - Mary Cheney AND Heather Poe. It's a shame that the right wing still buys into this hypocrisy.
