Quote of the Day

"I think what we're seeing is the tip of the iceberg of a new wave of citizen activism that I think will realign politics... In some ways, this is a war in Washington."

-- Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC), in a Reuters interview, on the Tea Party movement.

1. It can't be a war if only one side is fighting
Sadly, our party seems to have surrendered and apologized. What else do Dement and his slobbering minions want? Reparations?

2. Too bad Pew Research does not agree with him. A couple of
days after the election an official from Pew Research
gave analysis of the election and took calls.

A guy called in talking about a "new awakening" in the
land leading to a realignment.

The official from Pew put that baby to bed real fast.
He specifically stated there is no evidence of an awakening
or alignment. We are a two party country. The Concervatives
had an unusually good turn out. He explained 52% of the
people did not vote. A high percentage of the non voters
were Liberals and Independents who lean Democratic.

3. Thanks for pointing this out
People in this country wouldn't know a "new awakening" even if it bit them in their asses.

4. Shrug- the 'war' will be within the GOP; I'm cheering on the sidelines.
