2. She hasn't thought this through
because Republicans don't always watch TV shows that reflect their conservative values
(especially when it comes to drama, sitcoms and entertainment shows, so trying to cater to them would probably backfire).

3. For real?
And this is based on what exactly? The success of Fox News? It's the only outlet that goes as far as it does to promote a single worldview, of course it's successful.

If you spread the wingnuts out over 80 channels, the results will be very different.

6. Thanks. Had to laugh when Barnacle ended up shutting the whole
conversation about why this is the case down by observing that Rs like shows like "Dancing with the Stars" and Ds like to programming they can think about. Katty Kay turned all squirmy and mumbled something about thinking that they did not want to go there. Mika took the cue and changed the subject.

5. Shows How Shitty TV Is Now...
Most primetime crap makes my head hurt...between the inane "reality shows" and DWTS or American Idol, there's no there there...mindless video for the mindless. Now if that's what makes money and GOTBers watch that tripe, so be it.

One more difference between Democrats and rushpublicans...Democrats don't follow the herd.
