Ripples
Doing a little here and there.

Doing some good.

Making a small difference here and there.

More ripples.

We are not a few all-powerful supra-human corporate monsters able to decide the fate of thousands and millions according to bottom line accounting about profits.

But we are many millions more.

The monsters would turn us against one another, and make invisible every good deed we do to help one another. But those deeds, even if never highlighted or promoted on the TV thing, still make a difference.

But humans, humanists, humanitarians, will win over that amoral profit-first insanity by helping one another, supporting one another, assisting those groups which help, and building an alternative economy and support system.

The alternative, of course, is that the corporate monsters will exterminate us with the same indifference to our fate as they have shown to any other organic beings,

2. Thank you.
We (people) have always survived by working together. Capitalism has enshrined and enforced the opposite values. The anti-human ideology. We need to take back that makes us both human and viable, or "just die."

3. It is the few among us who are violent, who seek control over others ....
Edited on Fri Nov-12-10 03:06 AM by defendandprotect
we don't seem to have ever found the solution to ending violence --

in fact, in recent times it seems celebrated again as the right wing

has again given us new wars and now TORTURE --

and always right wing political violence which has taken our liberal

leadership -- often now before it even rises!

We need to uninvent the dollar bill --

and STOP judging everything by the yardstick of a dollar bill!!

Great post -- apology for my rant in the middle of it!!! :)

What's that old saying ... "Give me liberty or give me death" --
