Pissing Contest between Joe Scar & Olbermann?

Where was Joe Scarborough on election night? He was 160 miles from MSNBC’s studio, speaking to students at Williams College in Massachusetts with his co-host, Mika Brzezinski, who graduated from there.

Mr. Scarborough’s absence from the biggest news event of the year was noticeable to some viewers, since he is the only openly conservative host on MSNBC. But in retrospect, his choice to stay away from the studio looked wise. It reaffirmed that his morning talk show with Ms. Brzezinski, “Morning Joe,” stands apart from the liberally themed shows at other hours on MSNBC.

He does not exempt his own network from the criticism. Tensions between Mr. Scarborough and MSNBC’s top anchor, Keith Olbermann, are a badly kept secret, and they occasionally spill onto the air. It is safe to say that having Mr. Scarborough at the same long table as MSNBC’s liberal hosts on Tuesday would probably not have been entirely pleasant.

That table of hosts came under scrutiny on Friday after Mr. Olbermann was suspended for making donations to Democratic candidates. Mr. Scarborough made a donation to a Republican candidate in 2006, but MSNBC said that he had asked permission. Mr. Olbermann had not.

I want to know WTF is up with everywhere Mika goes Joe's there? And all the damn flirting, his backhandness to her, etc. They sure act like they are sleeping together! It's so damn obvious! And isn't he still supposedly married?

according to Scarborough’s co-host on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski, as well as John R. McGregor III, a representative from the Scarboroughs' Pensacola, Fla., bank. POLITICO was provided a copy of the bank transfer, which was dated April 9 and signed by Susan Scarborough.

“The Scarboroughs expect John Merrill will amend his campaign report to accurately reflect that reality,” said Brzezinski. “If he does not, I will recommend they file an ethics complaint against him.”

Brzezinski also challenged Merrill’s recollection of having brought Scarborough to Tuscaloosa for an August 2009 fundraiser for the county Republican Party, which Merrill said “was unbelievably successful. We raised a ton of money that we used to help local candidates.”

That event was “was billed as a tribute to Gov. Bob Riley on his retirement from politics,” said Brzezinski, noting that Riley and Scarborough served together in Congress and asserting, “Any suggestion that Joe Scarborough went to the University event to raise money for a political party is false. Sadly, many politicians try to elevate their standing by exaggerating their connection to Joe. This is one of those cases.”
