I've looked through the threads but my eyes are beginning to cross. I hope someone has it handy.

1. It really doesn't matter. In the HR manuals they list everything.

No jeans, no shirts hanging out of your pants, must wear leather belts, must keep hair neat.
Can not swear or provoke someone. No sneakers, must be leather shoes.

None of them are enforced except when they want cause.

I am sure if I dug through our 1 inch think HR manual that I could find length of finger nails and maybe even what color underwear a person has to have.

They just leafed through the NBC manual and found 1 of perhaps a thousand different things he violated, just like everyone who works at a major corporation does everytime they go to work.

2. It was just one or two sentences.
Something about not giving the wrong impression about your party affiliation, but, it made no sense to apply it to Olbermann because he doesn't hide his party affiliation.
